The Eastern Mediterranean Research Society
The Eastern Mediterranean Research Society (EMRS) is a non-governmental organization that has been active since 2016.
Founded by researchers specialized in various disciplines of natural and life sciences, our association aims to bring researchers and civil society together to contribute to direct access and production of knowledge.
Since its establishment, our team, working towards this goal, continues its efforts with national and international collaborations.

The Eastern Mediterranean Basin
The Mediterranean Basin refers to a vast geography encompassing places with coastlines on the Mediterranean, where the continents of Europe, Africa, and Asia converge. Turkey, located in this region with a rich historical, cultural, and natural heritage, is situated to the east of the Mediterranean Basin. The name of the Eastern Mediterranean Research Association points to our current biogeographic location.
