Children’s perspective on ecological issues

BB Project, born in 2023, I plan to establish a unique connection between society and science. This project involves visiting children in their own spaces all over Turkey and enabling them to imagine the ecological conditions they will encounter and want to be in when they become adults. In its first year, the project discusses the contributions of local ecological issues, adaptation or extinction stories of organisms with children. It provides them with the knowledge about ecological issues in their daily lives and aims to improve both the children’s and the planet’s future by using their imagination in solving these issues.

The main objectives of the project are:

Rights-based approach: Informing young individuals about the ecological problems they are currently facing and will face in the future

Bridging society and science: Making communication with scientists and researchers accessible for young individuals
